The Micro Focus License Verification team conducts periodical license reviews of our customers We have a global team with unique roles and responsibilities.
The License Management Specialist will be responsible for:
- Analyzing customer software entitlement data
- Understanding and documenting software deployments
- Comparing software deployments with entitlements and documenting findings
- Contract analysis
- Findings report generation for delivery to customers
- Advising/consulting accountable stakeholders in the Micro Focus, as needed.
- Being a subject matter expert and comfortable to debate with peers.
- Understand, suggest and implement process improvements
- Identifying areas of automations
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor degree preferred but not essential
- 0 - 2 years' work experience in audit, consulting, operations or a customer facing role preferred
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Ability to work remotely, independently and with minimal supervision
- Intermediate level Excel skills a must
- Understanding of software licensing models and software license agreements
- Strong data analytical skills supported by fact-based decision making
- Proficient reporting skills desired
- Ability to critically analyze and use fact-based decision making
- Flexibility to work in Global shift if needed
