The 503B Pick Pack & Ship Technician role is an entry-level position for those interested in joining a rapidly growing business at a well-established company, which focuses on (1) order fulfillment, (2) warehousing, and (3) shipping/logistics.  This newly created position will be a key member in this growing team and develop his/her skill sets in these three core areas.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill e-commerce orders for same-day/next-day shipping via handheld ERP mobile devices by retrieving allocated product from designated bin locations, building shipping cartons, and transacting material movements.


• Verify all pre-staged shipping cartons contain the items listed on pick-sheets as well as within the ERP system.


• Operate a small-parcel shipping station to select the most cost-effective carrier & shipping class to arrive on-time.


• Replenish component & finished goods picking bins from warehouse stock with pallet-jack via handheld or otherwise ERP mobile devices or workstations.


• Conduct periodic cycle counts of on-hand product to ensure ERP inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent


• Warehouse experience within an ERP-based system preferred


• Experience operating an electric pallet jack preferred


• Strong attention to detail for organization and recognition of product specific labeling information


• Able to work quickly at a consistent pace on ones feet for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment


• Develop a good working knowledge of the product, placement, material flows, and inventory control techniques and procedures
