Consultant, Digital Content Marketing

The Medicare Acquisition Marketing Team is responsible for building, executing, and optimizing campaigns to drive leads and sales for the Senior Markets Line of Business. In addition, our team is accountable for ensuring we are leveraging best-in-class thinking, insights, technology, emerging media channels to drive year-over-year improvements in the efficiency of our marketing investment. We strive to move at the speed of retail, and often have to make last minute shifts due to changing market dynamics or new competitive opportunities. The Consultant, Digital Content Marketing will report to the Sr, Manager Digital, Performance Analytics & Data Strategy. They will be responsible for partnering with other team members and agency partners to build, implement and optimize a content strategy for digital acquisition marketing efforts in an omni-channel environment. This role requires a self-starter willing to relentlessly pursue a relevant experience for our prospects as they engage with content across multiple channels and devices.

As our capabilities evolve and our audience changes, this person must be motivated by an environment rooted in constant transformation. Must have a roll-up your sleeves and pitch in attitude when it comes to managing work and problem solving.

Other Accountabilities:

- Accountable for partnering with cross-functional teams and agency partners to create, implement and optimize a digital acquisition content strategy within an omni-channel, digital-first acquisition environment. This includes full-funnel engagement from outbound media to landing page experiences to lead nurturing content.

- Develops the strategy, implements, and optimizes highly segmented, nurture campaigns across various channels like email, social media, webinars on-demand videos and more - all with the goal of converting a lead to a sale

- Partners with web team to advance on-site content strategy to connect landing page experience with outbound media to achieve KPIs, all while support SEO objectives

- Collaborates with business partners to define business outcomes and establishes KPIs that will deliver the intended outcomes, while constantly pursuing optimization strategies

- Educates cross line of business partners about content strategy best practices. Is viewed as the go-to expert within Medicare acquisition marketing.

- Drives large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams

- Demonstrates resiliency and ability to lead through immense change and uncertainty

- Adapts well to difficult situations and build trust with others; Excels at managing through conflict and demonstrates ability to influence peers to work collaboratively

- Frequently responsible for guiding, coaching, and training other employees across the team and the company within area of expertise

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in marketing or similar

- 7+ years of experience creating and implementing content strategies within an omni-channel environment

- Highly organized, detail-orientated, and self-motivated

- Superb executive communication skills: written and verbal. Ability to adapt communication style to audience.

- Experience using PowerPoint to communicate strategies to executive leadership

- Strong Influence Skills: Ability to influence other to adapt strategic plan.

- Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional areas and with Sales and Product, and Line of business leadership

- Proven ability to work collaboratively to get more out of Agency Partners

- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Works in partnership with team members and our agency to understand root cause of complex issues and problems, and work on an expedited resolution

- Demonstrates resiliency and ability to lead through immense change and uncertainty

- Adapts well to difficult situations and build trust with others; Excels at managing through conflict and demonstrates ability to influence peers to work collaboratively

- Must function independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change

- Proficiency in content capabilities within Google Marketing Platform and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
