We are looking for a talented contract staff member to support the Surface Warfare School's Command (SWSC) in Norfolk, Virginia. This individual will provide government contract expertise and financial analysis support to SWSC program managers.

- Must properly format and prepare formal documentation to include Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Government Cost Estimates, and Funding Document Requests

- Must develop and manage annual contract funding requirements in coordination with N8 Comptroller Directorate

- Interface with Contracting Office Project Managers, Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives

- Monitor overall contract performance and contract funding

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel and Access

- Expert knowledge in quality control, error detection, reviewing, reconciliation of data

- Expert knowledge in qualitative and quantitative analytical and evaluation methods to identify problems and recommend solutions

- Knowledge of Navy Surface Warfare training requirements

- Articulate, diplomatic, and team oriented

- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

- Knowledge of DOD Financial Management Regulation (DOD FMR)

- Knowledge of market research, cost and price analysis, acquisition planning, source selection procedures, business clearances, pre-award surveys, financial audits, technical reports, award fee plans, responsibility determinations.

- Must have an active SECRET clearance.
