The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) includes a full-service hospital with 318 patient beds. EIRMC is home to a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (of only two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. Our ER is the most experienced in the region. Accelerate your nursing career by joining our Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses (StaRN) program. Our Nurse Graduate Program is designed to help you prepare to succeed in an acute care hospital setting. The program is comprised of a combination of didactic training, high definition simulation and clinical preceptorship.

As an RN in our StaRN program, you receive the education and support necessary to develop the judgment, skill and knowledge you'll need to become the highest caliber nurse. You will have the opportunity to be mentored by the best, most highly educated and trained nurses within our facilities.

During the StaRN program, you will work with instructors to complete class assignments, skills training and exercises. Then, you will work with your preceptor during the preceptorship that follows. At successful program completion, you will be a valued team member with specialty training, established relationships and familiarity with our values and culture. OUR STARN PROGRAM BEGINS ON JANUARY 25, 2021

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

First 11 weeks

* Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with intermittent home study days. Must be able to attend all days.

Clinical Preceptorship - 12 weeks

THIS POSITION REQUIRES A TWO YEAR, FULL TIME COMMITMENT. THE FIRST YEAR IS A COMMITMENT TO THE UNIT YOU ARE HIRED TO AT EIRMC. THE SECOND YEAR IS ELIGIBLE TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER UNIT AT EIRMC, OR ANY OF OUR OTHER 185 HCA HOSPITALS AROUND THE COUNTRY.

* Current Licensure as an RN in Idaho within five weeks of starting the program
