Job Summary:

The TriStar Food & Nutrition Cook will be an experienced and competent professional who is responsible for obtaining food preferences, preparing, and distributing quality food and supplies to patients daily. This role will exemplify excellent customer service to all patients and employees.

* You will have knowledge of PATIENT SAFETY science principles, theory, methods, standards and regulatory requirements and experience with patient safety analysis techniques (methods), including root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effect analysis.

* You will have knowledge of HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply.

* You will have the ability to USE DATABASE SOFTWARE to enter, retrieve, sort, and filter information as necessary for reporting or report generation.
