Responsible for all accounting functions associated with receipts and shipments of grain for the facility. Interact with customers and handle basic office duties as assigned.

Core Functions:
- Actively participate in safety programs
- All accounting functions with regard to receipts and shipments of commodities
- Grain purchases/settlements for customers
- Provide end of year information for customers
- Communicate with local FSA office on common topics
- Provide excellent customer service with regard to customer contact and relations
- Provide general office activities including but not limited to inbound and outbound phone calls, mail, and ordering office supplies, greeting visitors and preparing for on-site meetings
- Accounts payable documentation tracking and follow up

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Associates degree in business is preferred
- Previous experience working in grain business is beneficial
- Excellent communications skills
- SAP software experience is preferred; SAP proficiency will be expected as an essential job function
- Excellent organization skills is required
- Computer skills relating to Microsoft products is required
- Accurate attendance with flexible working hours
- Ability to adapt to a fast pace working environment

Schedule
Standard but flexible due to nature of facility needs with overtime required during peak business periods
