Hillrom's Digital Health software solutions analyze real-time clinical data from point-of-care devices to identify risk and communicate hospital defined actions to healthcare providers. As part of this high growth initiative, the Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer applies expert and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in a broad area of assignments. Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods and contributes to the organization resolving important and/or complex challenges. The knowledge and expertise required for this level usually result from demonstrated progressive experience.
QualificationsEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in engineering - Appropriate technical discipline or local equivalent of same
* Minimum of 5 -7 years' experience in an engineering or technical role
* Experience with developing web applications
* Experience with Angular 8 or higher, React or React Native, TypeScript, HTML, SSL, JavaScript, SignalR or websocket, CSS3
* Experience developing either localized responsive UI web applications hosted in Microsoft Service Fabric or in a Linux/Docker environment
* Prefer experience with either C# .NET Core developing microservices using Microsoft Service Fabric in cloud hosted environment, or Node.js in a Linux/Docker environment
* Demonstrable understanding of object-oriented development, multi-threading and data structures
* Experience persisting structured and non-structured data
* Experience developing HTTP, JSON and RESTFul Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
* Full stack software development engineering capabilities preferred
* Ability to work in a team environment using Agile methods to work together to accomplish shared goals
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to articulate changes to software for design reviews and code reviews
* Experience developing commercial product software
* Strong focus on quality designs and use of quality methods
