If you are a Supervisor, International Accounting professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will prepare and analyze various financial reports related to international operations and to assist in providing interface on international financial matters with Senior Management, business units and other Corporate functions. AS A SUPERVISOR I, INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING, YOU WILL:
Prepare monthly financial analysis of Emerson’s international operations.
• Consolidate and review Emerson’s Foreign Holding Companies monthly financial statements.
• Prepare currency-related analysis, including:
o Distribution of monthly exchange rates
o Analysis of exchange rate impact on current and forecasted sales
o Supplemental currency analysis as requested by Senior Management
• Prepare monthly journal entries, quarterly regressions, and exposure analysis for hedging contracts.
• Consolidate and analyze the quarterly forecasted international operating results.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly variance analysis for the operations of Emerson’s Foreign Holding Companies.
• Prepare journal entry memos to business units regarding international dividends or capitalizations, legal entity reorganizations and other equity transactions.
• Prepare quarterly Cumulative Translation Adjustment analysis and investigate significant changes to CTA.
• Assist in the preparation, consolidation and analysis of the annual Financial Review of Emerson’s business unit’s international results.
• Assist the Director of International Accounting, Assistant Controller or Controller on ad hoc financial analysis projects as needed.
