Job Description

Will support the growth and profitability of Kimberly-Clark by cultivating strong supply chain relationships with our key global ecommerce customer teams. Ensure that the KC organization understands, plans and stays focused on achieving our customers’ key supply chain initiatives and metrics. Provide support to the K-C Supply Chain teams concerning customer’s supply chain practices.

The role will advance Customer Availability for key global customers including both business processes and capabilities.  This will include working with internal and external parties to assess replenishment program options, make recommendations, manage relationships and accelerate actions. 

The role will also lead in developing and deploying internal customer service performance metrics (and tools), technology and processes to support our key customer service objectives. It will also support the execution of the Global Supply Chain strategies and various programs in mind of our key customers in selected global markets. The role will also help develop in country Supply Chain personnel to support the initiatives.

Organizational Relationships / Contacts and Interactions


  • Reports to:  Associate Director, Customer Collaboration.

  • Direct Reports: Individual contributor that leads transformation Programs and manages matrix relationships.

  • Works across the matrix of all K-C business units globally and interacts with: 1) Customer Supply Chain / Replenishment Leads, 2) KC International Development Directors; In-Country Supply Chain and Commercial Leaders and 3) Information Technology partners.
     

Working Conditions

This position is such that significant international travel is a necessity. This may be up to 30% of the time to a duration of two-week business trips.

Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships to ensure supply chain visions are aligned and best practices are implemented.

  • Position Kimberly-Clark to be recognized by our key global ecommerce partners as a supply chain leader and strategic partner to understand and influence their current and future supply chain direction.

  • Lead in developing, deploying, and achieving internal/external customer performance metrics, starting with OTIF, but further to perfect order and ultimately OSA (among other in process metrics) to service our customers.

  • Evaluate tools and program options to drive consumer availability across all Omni-Channel customer classes.

  • Ensure Kimberly-Clark is actively involved in all relevant supply chain projects and developmental programs with our key customers.

  • Provide and/or coordinate supply chain training to new in-country teams as needed for key customer programs or internal supply chain service improvement programs including best practice sharing.

  • Communicate the Voice of the Customer throughout the K-C logistics organization.

  • Identifying and prioritizing key customer collaboration opportunities within the connected supply chains and develop strategies that translate into actionable plans to realize Total Value Creation

  • Serve as a spokesperson and influential resource to address supply chain related issues with key customers.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • Experience: ~2+ years in supply chain/customer logistics industry with experience preferred at an ecommerce company or directly calling on ecommerce customers.

  • Must have international / global CPG industry experience.

  • Ecommerce experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated Project Management and Leadership skills, and track record of partnering with cross functional teams.

  • A demonstrated history for driving real, tangible value in past Customer Logistics efforts; effectiveness in strategy development and deployment leading to improved business results.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications: including advanced level Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in reporting and analytical tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Azure and homegrown systems.

  • Understanding of international supply chain operations for both suppliers and retail customers.

  • Experience driving indispensable partner relationships with key customers.

  • Personal credibility through strong communication skills, achieving results, and trusted relationships internally and externally.
