Kimberly-Clark’s Global Business Services (GBS) operates across 5 sites with 1000+ employees worldwide and continues to grow. Business functions/processes within the GBS scope are Accounting-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Treasury, Management Reporting, Real Estate and Facilities Management. Transformation and Migration Management is a signature capability of GBS and will be a key driver to deliver cost savings to the enterprise by reducing complexity, delivering services more efficiently and effectively, and freeing up capacity to further grow the GBS operations, enabling business teams to focus on profitably growing our business.

Role Accountabilities:

The Sr. Consultant, GBS (Regional) BPM will be responsible for executing medium to high complexity initiatives, working in concert with the global BPM teams and Global Process Owner(s) to leverage standards and best practices. Dimensions of the role include providing leadership in the area of project management to identify and implement global end-to-end business process changes through the deployment of focused methodologies and tools. The incumbent will be a strategic thinker and problem solver, capable of analyzing complex business processes and leading projects focused on standardizing, optimizing and automating business operations. The incumbent will have exceptional communication skill, enabling them to influence senior leaders regarding the implementation of business change.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Leading medium to high complexity transformational initiative(s) in support of Enterprise &  GBS strategy


  • Providing expert project management (providing team leadership & working direction in a collaborative, effective manner) and/or coaching support for medium to high-complex regional projects.


  • Working closely with business clients to identify, analyze, design and implement business processes and workflows


  • Monitoring and supporting the Global Process Owner transformation roadmap


  • Leveraging continuous improvement principles and tools to maximize productivity and innovation


Secondary Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the development of the business case and benefit tracking


  • Identifying and driving process improvement opportunities


  • Support the shaping, steering and implementing of a consistent approach and message concerning the continuous improvement & transformation across GBS


  • Staying current with external project management, change management and continuous improvement "best practices" along with determining how these can be applied within the GBS organization


Main Purpose of Role:


  • Lead/manage large, medium to high complexity projects across broad areas of the business, often involving many stakeholders following a defined project methodology


  • Primarily supporting regional initiatives, expanding to global initiatives as required. 


  • Support development and deployment of project management tools, standards and capabilities for the Global and Regional Business Process Management teams and customers.

Required Knowledge / Experience:


  • Four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in professional business subjects.


  • 8-10 years relevant business experience with demonstrated “people & project “success


  • Fluent in English – Required (Additional languages preferred)


  • Highly motivated individual or is a self-starter and takes ownership of projects and tasks.


  • “Hands on” experience leading and supporting multi-country, multi-function projects


  • Demonstrated success in use of Lean Six Sigma thinking, systems, and tools


  • Consistent track record of delivering results while creating/maintaining an engaged work environment
