If you are a Transactions professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson Automation Solutions has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, MN locations you will supervise the transactions team on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for the work planning and performance of direct reports. You will also assist the Manager in implementing and supporting company policies and procedures.
 
AS A TRANSACTIONS SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL: 


  • Supervise and evaluate both onsite and remote direct reports

  • Provides day-to-day work direction to Cash Applications/Transactions team.

  • Responsible for ensuring team metrics are met.

  • Responsible for ensuring financial close of accounts receivable is completed per monthly closing schedule.

  • Responsible for ensuring all banking activity is posted and balanced daily and reconciles to A/R subledger

  • Establishes and coordinates communication between local and offshore team members to collaborate on common processes, best practices and review improvement opportunities.

  • Demonstrates sound judgement in decisions on financial transactions that may impact the business.  Ensures established DOA’s with supported business units/sites are strictly adhered to. 

  • Works with supported business units/sites to ensure processes are functioning in accordance with standard procedures and internal controls

  • Plans and implements existing Customer Financial Services (CFS) procedures in cash transaction processing for new business units/sites integrating into CFS.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

  • Four (4) years related experience, including at least one-year supervisory experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Finance or Accounts Receivable experience
