What you will do:
Your primary responsibility will be to execute and maintain the demand, supply and inventory planning.

How you will do it: 


  • Manage and influence the key stakeholders in the Demand Consensus Process. Identify insights in demand that can be used to support increased revenue at the retailer.

  • Manage the demand planning process to provide an accurate forecast that supports customer service requirements while minimizing inventory levels

  • Coach, mentor and help develop a team of demand planners.

  • Recommend and implement key supply chain planning techniques with the supply planning organization to support minimal stockouts and increased inventory turns.

  • Develop and implement planning systems to meet market strategy, to meet goals or objectives; Identify lean techniques to improve demand planning metrics and processes.

  • Responsible for identifying sales trends based on seasons, promotions, and historical sales trends. Develop, maintain, utilize, and validate pricing and predictive models to forecast demand and strategize supply.

  • Initiate programs or policies that maximize inventory turns and identify slow moving items in the inventory life cycle.

  • Present on how the demanding planning process improves turn over and inventory results.

  • Execute on the company’s supply chain strategy

  • Manage inventory tools and analyze data about surplus and discards. Monitor demand forecasts and ensure accurate reporting and analysis of data.

  • Perform analyses with this data using analytical models and mathematical analysis. Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.

  • Communicate and explain statistical models and recommendations to diverse audiences.

  • Analyze data from shipping and receiving to find bottlenecks and execute corrective action

What we look for:

Required


  • A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, computer science, or a certification in operator or vendor management, such as the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

  • 7-10 of experience working in the planning and inventory solutions in a manufacturing environment with a high growth manufacturing,

  • Supervisory experience coaching and developing employees to continuously improve performance

  • Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain processes, such as Sales and Operations Planning, MRP, Forecasting, Demand and Supply Planning, Indirect Procurement, Materials Management and Logistics.

  • Use of various software and computer applications, such as Oracle, SAP, SAS, APO and Microsoft Office programs,

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

  • A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others; easily accepts constructive input from others.
