The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Data Platform Automation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  The Data Platform Automation Analyst will lead the automation efforts for our Data Platform Engineering team. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Working with various data teams to determine automation opportunities.


• Supporting data migration into the cloud.


• Automating backup and disaster recovery processes.


• Creating automated database build scripts.


• Ensuring Compliance Controls are maintained to protect data.

Your Skills and Expertise     
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• One (1) year of IT experience in a private, public, government or military environment


• Scripting experience with Python and/or Powershell

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with Agile Scrum projects


• Cross-functional IT expertise (applications, information security, networking)


• Experience with Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure platforms


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: Is authorized within country per 3M relocation policy

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
