The Heritage at Sagewood, an Assisted & Memory Support Living Community, in Grand Island, NE is currently accepting applications for Maintenance Tech / Driver!
Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Assisting residents with transportation needs, apartment turnover, routine repairs, monitoring building systems, performing grounds keeping.
As a driver will transport residents to and from appointments when needed. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess knowledge of principles and practices of interior and exterior building maintenance and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must enjoy making meaningful relationships with residents while exemplifying the core values of compassion, respect, trust, and fun.
This is a full time position with a rotating schedule, no weekends required.
Responsibilities:

• Complete work orders


• Preventative maintenance tasks


• Perform handyman duties for residents


• Refurbish (paint, drywall repair)


• Change HVAC filters


• Light electrical


• Light plumbing


• Perform grounds keeping


• Applicant must have a valid drivers license.


• Clean Driving Record: (Preferred)

• Experience in maintenance or environmental services preferred


• Demonstrated experience working in a customer-focused role


• Ability to maintain the building


• Ensure a safe living environment for residents
