Position Overview:

Citrix is looking for a passionate, results-oriented Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Technical Program Manager at Citrix, you will manage programs, delivering cloud services and on-prem products, working with multi-disciplinary and distributed teams of all sizes. You will also work with project stakeholders firming up requirements, ushering projects through agile development techniques and certifying releases. The scope also includes creating schedules, identifying risks, recommending risk mitigations and trade-offs to project stakeholders and executives.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage projects and program of all sizes
- Project Management with focus on data driven risk management
- Manage communication of progress/status to a diverse audience
- Monitor quality of releases and interim development, triage and assign issues. Coordinate fixes for release branches and publish releases
- Own and publish release calendars detailing code deployments, data refreshes, code freezes and patch windows
- Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity
- Coordinate/track program demos and launch reviews across multiple teams. Projects managed may includeup totwelve scrumteams
- Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams, communicating schedules, priorities and status to all levels in the company
- The scope of the role ranges from smaller feature teams (i.e. scrum master) to larger projects and programs that include diverse set of components and products

Basic Qualifications:
- Requires deep knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- Viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, MIS or related technical field
- 2-3 years of program/project management experience in a software development organization including hands-on management of large, cross-functional software efforts & experience with the software development life-cycle from inception to testing to production deployment and maintenance.
- Scrum Master/Release Train Engineering experience
- Experience building processes, program management, and release schedules
- Working knowledge of Cloud-AWS and Azure technologies/services

Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP/Scrum Master/ Release Train Engineer Certification
- Working knowledge of current front-end web technologies
- Experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is a big plus
