Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Senior Management Analyst - I MEF G1

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

\\"This position is contingent upon contract award\\"

Support the I MEF G-1/Administration Section and advise the I MEF commander in matters pertaining to personnel management, internal organization, casualty reporting, manpower, and personnel policy (to include joint service personnel assigned within I MEF and coalition force personnel serving within I MEF).

Providing operational planning and support for manpower and administration requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Provide technical advice and analysis in the composition of ad-hoc organizations

- Assist in developing and maintaining manpower management products and technical documentation

- Advise on sourcing solutions for various manpower requirements

- Advise on sustainable sourcing solutions for I MEF warfighting readiness

- Consult on use of available deployable inventory and staffing metrics for deploying units in support of I MEF operations

- Support the analysis and evaluation of initiatives, contingency operations, planning and policies involving I MEF individual augments resident at commands, installations, and agencies throughout the Pacific theater

- Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations for staffing processes for I MEF, to include training

- Provide analysis and recommendations on total force structure

- Advise on proper coding, labeling, and alignment of staff section positions

- Advise the I MEF DoD Personnel Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP) Program Manager

- Attend meeting held for the Civilian Resource Working Group and document the results of the group as requested by the group or COR

- Update the I MEF Civilian Accountability Database

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret


- Must be a US Citizen

- Secret Clearance or higher

- Master's Degree (12 years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree. Bachelor's Degree plus 8 additional years' work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree)

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Proficiency with Cognos 8 Suite/Cognos Report Net Studio for statistical data

- Experience with Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS) for data analysis

- Experience with Marine Corps Force Augmentation Process System (MCFAPS) in order to process service augments in support of I MEF operations

- Experience with applying analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity

- Experience with Total Force Manpower management principles, practices, methods and techniques, and integration of management services within the general management

- Experience with training, development and mentoring, team building, policy implementation, budget management, and records managements

- Superior knowledge of military command structure (specific to Marine Expeditionary Force Structure), missions, programs, and organizational relationships, plus a thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop staffing standards covering complex program functions or missions
