Radiation Therapist, Satellite Oncology, Full Time, Days, Albuquerque, NM

We are looking for a Radiation Therapist to join our Satellite Oncology team in Albuquerque, NM.

This full time job is located at Lovelace Medical Center, an acute care hospital providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, cardiology, stroke care, radiology and oncology services, including the state's only Gamma Knife Center for non-invasive radiologic brain surgery.

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities:

* Provides health care services using ionizing radiation to administer treatment of cancer in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist.

* Performs therapeutic, diagnostic and quality control procedures.

* Adheres to policies, procedure and regulation to ensure compliance and patient safety.

* Minimum: Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) radiologic program or equivalent

* One (1) year of related experience

* NM Radiation Therapy Licensed

* Current BLS

* Knowledge of a variety of software applicants programs; Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures; Ability to problem solve; Ability to communicate effectively
