Description*Due to COVID, this position will start out remote with the expectation to transition into our Cary office once deemed safe*
We are looking for energetic and goal-oriented go-getters who are passionate about the world of healthcare and interested in a career in sales for this entry-level sales role. If you're fearless and welcome the challenge to successfully execute the 'Find & Activate' steps of the sales process through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, etc., then this role may be the right fit for you! By learning our consultative selling process and assisting with meetings, solution demos and other follow-up work you will become prepared for a long-term career in the world of healthcare sales. This opportunity is for a growth position for potential replacement in future outside sales roles which may require relocation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The New Business Generation Representative's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Development of Knowledge and Skills * Product knowledge - understand the features, benefits and key differentiators of the product line
* Application knowledge - understand the costs, shortcomings and risks associated with current processes and products that hospital prospects may be using
* Company knowledge - understand the history, background and experience and why we are the best choice for potential customers
* Sales skills - understand consultative selling and key activities that are part of our solution/alternative sales process

* Execution of the Sales Process * Follow the 'Find and Activate' sales process to penetrate target accounts and develop the top of the sales funnel

* Achievement of weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives and assigned activities
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and data in Salesforce.com
* Utilize business intelligence and sales analysis tools and reports to manage, assess, and maximize opportunities
* Develop working relationships with staff cross-functionally to that the most effective solutions are used in coordination of the sales process, and to effectively and efficiently provide a full range of support during the sales process
* Attend and participate in all required meetings
* Participation as requested in customer meetings, conferences, go-lives, etc.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required - in Business, Sales, Healthcare or Marketing strongly preferred.
* Ability to execute the sales process in a virtual setting (cold calls, cold emails, virtual meetings, etc.)
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Self-starter and ability to learn quickly on your own
* Experience with MS Office, Salesforce, Zoominfo, Definitive Healthcare, and LinkedIn preferred
* Exposure to healthcare environment is a plus
* Strong work ethic, demonstrated commitment to details, organization and time management skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with customers and staff
* Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment
* Ability to travel if necessary
