JOB DESCRIPTION

Coach USA-Elko, Inc. is looking for Dispatchers to join our family in Elko, NV. Under the supervision of the Dispatch Supervisor and Director of Operations a Dispatcher assigns drivers, issues assignments and dispatches vehicles in accordance with pre-published schedules/charters and on-demand requests.

We ask:

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and six months to one year related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. (Logs)

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

* Willing to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays

* Must be customer service oriented with the ability to deal with various personalities within and out of the organization

* PC literate with current computer system experience. Phone skills including proper etiquette.

* Other duties as assigned
