The mission of the Senior Financial Analyst role in El Paso, TX is to help the North American Global Supply Chain team make the most informed decisions possible for the benefit of Schneider Electric. They are going to aid the business decision making process through helping Plant and Cluster leaders understand the plant performance and providing insightful analysis to drive actions, all while balancing the need to digitize and simplify our current processes.

What do you get to do in this position?


  • Perform monthly close activities including account reconciliations, G/L analysis and journal preparation
  • Ensure Balance Sheet Accuracy through account reconciliations, physical inventory support and internal controls compliance
  • Build collaborative forecast on main KPIs such as Productivity, CAPEX, Base Cost and P&L Analysis of Change
  • Tracking & measurement of financial results to expectations, within monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Prepare closing commentary for ETO Cluster to support month-end reporting deliverables
  • Work with finance peers in a strong team atmosphere, collaborating, influencing and improving items outside of normal ownership
  • Drive interaction and collaboration with FO to improve plant's performance & margin (i.e. - ETO Costing, Middle Office Strategy, Project Profitability, etc.)
  • Leverage data and other information to support Management team for business analysis and decision making
  • Leverage digital tools & skills for financial & operational reporting to drive efficiency and simplification
  • Identify opportunities to develop and implement continuous improvement processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the plant
  • Support and / or Lead ETO portfolio transformational projects

This job might be for you if:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
  • 5 years of experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field
  • Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
  • Demonstrate strong ability to work with and influence others not within direct reporting relationship
  • Proactively supports peers to promote knowledge-sharing, collaboration, teamwork and personal development
  • Demonstrated leadership/mentoring skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel and data management tools, especially Tableau and SQL (VBA, etc.)
