Job Description: Packaging Senior Buyer at RB

Summary:
We are seeking a driven, analytical and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join our North American packaging procurement team, as part of our global procurement organization. Role will be across Blow Moulding, Non-Woven and Glass commodities.

Responsibilities include leading RFQs and projects, supplier negotiation, capacity analysis, mold management and financial analysis. As Senior Buyer you will work with the full range of disciplines and cultures, both internally and on the supplier side. The position is located in Parsippany NJ and experience of supply chain and direct procurement principles is necessary.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1) Manage part of Blow Moulding, Non-Woven & Glass portfolio for North America
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies
• Achieve optimum cost while ensuring high level of quality/service
• Support unprecedent volume growth: supplier onboarding, product validation with cross functional team
• Work in close coordination with R&D to support new product developments, identify or generate cost saving initiative projects and support implementation within aggressive timelines
• Manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Source innovation and support organizations' sustainability goals

2) Support Operations for 2 Managers and Categories
• Set up Sourcing events
• Lead RFQs for New Projects
• Monitor realization of cost savings and ensures price changes are reconciled in the accounting system
• Perform monthly Purchase price variance analysis and implements action plans
• Consistently benchmark key pricing points and provides analytical support derived from operational, technical and financial inputs to identify leverage points for negotiations
• Improve Processes: RB embraces change and improvements, Senior Buyer will be able to propose new ways of working and implement them
