The Global Liquidity Product Sales Specialist (PSS) function broadly focuses on the management of liquidity portfolio pricing and profitability, presentation of complex liquidity solutions and investment management expertise to internal sales teams & clients, identification of emerging client requirements, management of segment initiatives and regular business reviews with key stakeholders to drive financial results.
The Global Liquidity Solutions PSS team provides robust support to CB TS Sales and Banking business heads in portfolio level decisions and supports markets at the deal level in positioning liquidity products and pricing for Commercial Banking clients.
Commercial Banking provides the complete product offering of JPMorgan Chase, including lending, treasury services, investment banking and investment management to corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion.
The Liquidity Product Sales Specialist will report to the Global Liquidity Solutions Team Lead for Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries and will align with Commercial Banking's Treasury Management Officers (TMO), bankers and other product partners focused on clients in CB's Corporate Client Banking sub line of business. This position will be based in Dallas, TX. Roles and responsibilities include:
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Provides and drives strategic pricing and product direction for Core Sales and Banker teams throughout the Midwest to maximize client and portfolio profitability while attracting and solidifying broad customer relationships. (Related initiatives could include Liquidity oriented marketing campaigns, product focus events, periodic exception reviews and ongoing pipeline discussions.)
2. Remains activily engaged in a sales process that determines client needs and objectives, designs specific solutions to meet those needs, and then presents the solutions in compelling ways to win.|
3.Serves as a consulting resource to Bankers and Sales for the determination of exception pricing. Analyzes the impact of exception requests and becomes the first point of approval when justified. Provides cost and benefit analysis with recommendations for those whose approvals are additionally required.
4.Maintains an active dialog with and serves as a knowledgeable resource to senior sales and banking managers including but not limited to chairing and facilitating the Core Midwest Deposit Forum. As part, prepares and provides special and routine summary reports and constantly monitors competitor and industry trends.
5.Serves as a gatekeeper to, and a liaison with other internal investment providers (AM Liquidity, Brokerage, Private Bank and other AM groups).
6.Partners with other key stakeholder groups including Finance, Treasury, Operations, Audit and Risk Management to ensure that liquidity products are used to maintain compliance with policies and to meet other corporate objectives including profitability targets.
