We are seeking a Go-To-Market and Business Development Leader to be a compelling client-facing ambassador of our North America Content Services practice. Focusing particularly on elevating our sales activities and enhancing our point of view in the market, the leader will be able to clearly define and articulate the different focus offers, across content strategy, content + marketing operations, and content optimization to introduce them to business and technology stakeholders.

 

You are an industry thought leader in the Content and Marketing space with a proven track record in winning new business, preferably from the Agency world, or as a practitioner leading global content teams in a Fortune 500 organization. You will lead the development of annual new business forecasts, identification of prospective clients and their decision makers and building relationships with them, development of tailored marketing/sales strategy, leading the pursuit teams, creating & presenting the proposal with the support of a cross-functional, global team. You are an excellent communicator who builds relationships quickly and is passionate about working in a fast-paced, results-driven organization. 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Partner with the North America Head of Content Services to drive the optimization and development of a best-in-class Go-To-Market strategy for the Content Services competency

·         Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key influencers/decision makers at target prospects/clients

·         Cultivate business relationships through networking, industry events and outbound marketing

·         Create a net new $10M+ qualified annual pipeline either at new clients or existing clients

·         Track performance of all Content programs on an ongoing basis to ensure strategies are effective and to spot any emerging trends/opportunities, especially in the intelligent / modular content space to drive omni-channel personalization

·         Understand and articulate our Content services, capabilities, benefits and competitive advantages and knowing when to involve the broader Cognizant for best results

·         Contribute quarterly industry thought leadership, e.g. whitepapers, industry presentations, etc. to evangelize our offerings and points of view to the market

·         Develop compelling client proposals and presentations

·         Become an expert in preferred industry verticals

 

Experience:

·         Successful track record (10+ years) of building and managing a Content business within a professional agency environment or as a content marketing practitioner leader in a Fortune 500 organization

·         Strong understanding of the content + marketing domain and technology landscape, digital experience platforms, marketing technology / automation, content marketing platforms, etc.

·         Ability to speak to both tactical and strategic decision makers

·         Extensive experience in creating and presenting deal-winning pitch books, responses to RFIs and RFPs

·         Demonstrated ability to take a consultative and relationship-driven approach to engaging with executives

·         Ability to communicate and contribute cross-functionally throughout the various capability groups across Cognizant, including on and offshore teams

·         Must be able to navigate a large organization and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence

·         Demonstrated ability to work across internal organizational functions to cast, pitch and sell deals with relevant subject matter expertise and practice leads

·         Should be able to conceptualize, analyze, and create blueprints for business transformations and present solutions

·         Willingness to travel (when appropriate), approx. 30 – 40%
