Prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or services to aid management.
Coordinate the bid/proposal process.
Establish work break‐down structure and performs quantity surveys.
Interfaces with the owner, architect, engineer, contractors and subcontractors to provide bid assistance, design assistance, value engineering studies, constructability review, and project schedule analysis.
Manage construction documentation (RFI's, ASI's, etc.)
Manage project costs to meet or exceed target margins.
Manage project procurement.
Negotiate, write and award contractors and purchase order agreements.
Participate in activities to support the company's strategic planning efforts
Perform the pricing of material, labor and equipment, general conditions and direct job expense to complete the estimate.
Prepare and manages all billings.
Review contractual requirements to determine scope of work.
Salary: Available upon request
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week (Hours Vary)
Job Requirements:
Education Requirements: U.S. Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related
Experience Requirements: None
Special skills requirements:
Experience and knowledge with of Construction Planning and Scheduling
Experience and knowledge with Construction Techniques and Methods
Experience and knowledge with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Construction Cost Estimating
Experience as an intern in the engineering industry
