Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or services to aid management.
  • Coordinate the bid/proposal process.
  • Establish work break‐down structure and performs quantity surveys.
  • Interfaces with the owner, architect, engineer, contractors and subcontractors to provide bid assistance, design assistance, value engineering studies, constructability review, and project schedule analysis.
  • Manage construction documentation (RFI's, ASI's, etc.)
  • Manage project costs to meet or exceed target margins.
  • Manage project procurement.
  • Negotiate, write and award contractors and purchase order agreements.
  • Participate in activities to support the company's strategic planning efforts
  • Perform the pricing of material, labor and equipment, general conditions and direct job expense to complete the estimate.
  • Prepare and manages all billings.
  • Review contractual requirements to determine scope of work.

  • Salary: Available upon request

    Work Schedule: 40 hours/week (Hours Vary)

    Job Requirements:

    Education Requirements: U.S. Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related

    Experience Requirements: None

    Special skills requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge with of Construction Planning and Scheduling
  • Experience and knowledge with Construction Techniques and Methods
  • Experience and knowledge with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Construction Cost Estimating
  • Experience as an intern in the engineering industry
