Job Summary: Plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows. Establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources. Prepare production reports.
Create and maintain weekly production schedules for all lines.
Adjust schedules as needed to react to material availability, open orders and inventory. Communicate changes as needed.
Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; includes estimating.
Review material availability with Purchasing staff.
Assist in securing raw materials and components to support the production schedule.
Generate inventory and customer reports as required.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience:
At least 1 year of scheduling, demand planning or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Additional:
Experience working with MS Access, AS400, SAP and MRP systems.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
