Provides assistance to facilitate efficient execution in a cross-functional team by supporting team members with project planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Leads coordinating projects, including managing, describing and organizing the project, involving people and aligning expectations
Provides support in managing and executing team projects by aligning people and expectations
Creates, maintains, analyzes and monitors project schedules, performance data and prepares regular dashboards and other status reports to the team and management
Tracks project risks, opportunities, and issues in order to develop resolutions to meet quality and timeline goals/objectives
Proposes improvements to project planning elements, maintains project archives and facilitates knowledge transfer
Set up and maintain regular cadence of project-related communication
Assists leadership in coordinating, planning, and executing project meetings, both internal and external
Expected Areas of Competence
Strong communication skills, both oral and written; includes technical writing skills
Strong computer skills, preferably including Microsoft Project experience
Strong organizational skills Knowledgeable about project planning, management, monitoring, and reporting Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships
Education/Experience Requirements
BS degree required, in an engineering or technical field is preferred (or non-US equivalent).
More than 3 years of experience in being part of a project team
Experience in facilitating and coordinating projects preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ MS Project/ Advanced Modeling Excel and SharePoint
