The Role

Leveraging a strong knowledge of the Utility industry and associated dynamics and macro trends, this role will be responsible for selling and delivering advisory consulting services that help Utility clients define their Digital Transformation and Data Modernization roadmap, and identifying and initiating projects that support this transformation and modernization journey. The role will apply consulting, industry and interpersonal skills to engage and guide clients regarding the challenges in today's market, industry trends, and the Hitachi Vantara portfolio and vision, specifically in relation to our 5 core solutions offerings:

- Digital Transformation and Data Modernization

- Intelligent Operations Management

- Connected Asset Performance

- Health Safety & Environment Solutions

- Intelligent Energy Management

Responsibilities

- Advise Utility clients on their digital transformation and data modernization journey

- Sell and deliver advisory services engagements to Utility clients

- Support sales and help initiate delivery of other related offerings to the Utility industry

- Keeps on top of market trends and competitive offerings and provide internal advice and support on the definition, alignment and competitiveness of our solutions and offerings

- Contribute to development of new software solutions by leading customer need and value-analysis, and by providing input to the roadmap to create maximum value for our product/solution/service portfolio

- Ensure that delivery of our offerings and solutions is of high quality and meets client needs

Qualifications and Requirements

- In-depth experience and knowledge of the Utility industry, its client needs, macro industry trends, and other relevant dynamics gained in consultancy roles; practical experience and expertise in moderating workshop and selling and delivering advisory engagements

- Knowledge of solutions offerings relating to Digital Transformation and Data Modernization, Intelligent Operations Management, Connected Asset Performance, Health Safety & Environment Solutions, Intelligent Energy Management

- Familiarity with network management, cyber security, customer information management and other functions critical to a Utility

- Exceptional communication skills, with strong presentation and interpersonal attributes, a confident demeanor, and a comfort with leading discussions

- Strong collaboration skills working in a team environment and across large and complex organizations

- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)

- Will require ~30% travel (post Covid restrictions)
