Dewberry is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to provide full-cycle subcontract administration to support design-build projects in the energy solutions and telecom markets. Source suppliers, negotiate and award subcontracts for technical and professional services, materials, and construction services. Responsibilities

Develop and award subcontracts for procurements of low to moderate value, risk, and complexity
- Manage the solicitation process, from developing and issuing RFPs to evaluation of proposals and source selection
- Conduct price analysis to ensure price reasonableness
- Review and negotiate NDAs and TAs
- Prepare subcontract modifications
- Identify flowdown requirements from the prime contract
- Prepare file documentation (electronic) to evidence compliance with policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to project managers on subcontracting processes and best practices
- Assist with developing, communicating and implementing procurement strategies and plans in accordance with overall company and business unit objectives
- Review insurance certificates for compliance with subcontract terms
- Responsible for electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (eSRS)

Required Skills & Required Experience

- B.S. degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in procurement or contracting
- Demonstrated experience with managing the procurement process including solicitation, evaluation, award and documentation
- Experience negotiating terms and conditions, analyzing for risk and recommending mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of contract and price types (IDIQ, FFP, T&M, etc.)
- Some knowledge of FAR principles and applying them to subcontract formation
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to achieve agreed upon goals with little supervision
- Demonstrated professionalism
- Sound business ethics
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to gain proficiency in enterprise procurement tools
Preferred Characteristics
- Experience with construction projects, building renovations, cell site installation, or telecom distribution
- Experience with Federal and/or state government subcontracting
- Experience with strategic sourcing
