This position supports the Director and Associate Director related to the mission of the Fisher Institute of Health and Well-Being, including all budget-related activities and all office functions. Associate's degree or equivalent in business, office administration or related area. Minimum Experience

Supervisory experience; excellent communication skills. Preferred Other Position Title(s) Supervised

The Fisher Institute of Health and Well-Being is a research-focused unit within the College of Health at Ball State University with an inter-disciplinary scope focused on Health and Well-Being. The directors of the Fisher Institute have developed a Research Affiliate Group of faculty within the College of Health and across Ball State University to work together on various research and community-engaged projects. Duties & Responsibilities
Ranking 1 Job Duty
Coordinate overall office functions; direct inquiries from faculty, staff, students, and outside constituencies; provide secretarial and administrative support for the Director, Associate Director, other staff members, and graduate assistants; including correspondence, scheduling meetings, and office technology support. Ranking 2 Job Duty
Work directly with the College of Health administration related to activities of the Fisher Institute of Health and Well-Being. Ranking 3 Job Duty
Monitor annual budget; verify balances and process all budget transactions. Ranking 4 Job Duty
Monitor financial transactions of the Foundation Accounts for the department; work with Foundation officers related to fundraising options and provide recommendations to the Director; process all communications with donors. Ranking 5 Job Duty
Monitor financial transactions for grants and contracts; work with Sponsored Projects Administration on all related budgetary matters. Ranking 6 Job Duty
Prepare and process all EPAFs for faculty, staff, graduate assistants, and student employees. Ranking 7 Job Duty
Prepare job descriptions for student assistants, recommend for hire student employees, set schedules and assignments, direct and supervise all student employees; conduct student employee performance appraisals. Ranking 8 Job Duty
Coordinate arrangements for luncheons, meetings, invited speaker presentations, scholarly meetings; organize planning details; communicate and initiate travel arrangements for guests. Ranking 9 Job Duty
