Job Summary: (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned):

The Financial Analyst is responsible for general analyst duties for the COSCI Major Maintenance Group.

Job Responsibilities:

* Prepares and analyzes portions of the TMG monthly variance analysis and cost statements including forecast updates.

* Assists in coordination of accounting information from outage directors/managers and regional business managers to COSCI Accounting and FP&A.

* Assists with preparation of TMG major maintenance and department budget.

* Position will be involved in development of and preparation of various TMG process metrics.

* Assists in preparation of monthly internal management reporting packages on results of outages, which includes variance analysis.

* Position will assist in the development and use of the PeopleSoft Project Costing Module for major maintenance activities.

* Develops and maintains job processes and procedures.

* Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements
* Four-year degree in accounting/finance/economics. Related experience will be considered.

* Must possess a minimum of three years experience with Electric Utility, IPP, or other Heavy Industry.

* Knowledge of Gas Turbine Life Cycle cost drivers and dependencies a plus.

* Excellent spreadsheet modeling skills are required.

* Strong analytical and technical skills required.

* Must be able to read, understand, and apply technical and finance details of various styles of gas turbine major maintenance contracts

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; results-oriented; able to work autonomously and in a team environment. Self-starter with initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks.

* Ability to work in a fast-pace environment with significant deadlines.

* Dependable and can follow through on all assignments.

* Must be motivated to work independently and complete these responsibilities with little supervision.

* Must be detail oriented.

* Oracle Hyperion experience preferred but not required.

* PeopleSoft experience preferred but not required.

* Maximo CMMS experience preferred but not required.

* Some Overtime Required, Minimal Travel Required
