If so, Plexus has an exciting opportunity for you!Plexus is searching for a self-motived, driven Tax professional to join our growing Global Tax team. In this role, you would be responsible for the following tax related issues including preparation, planning and research. Responsible for ensuring the records, returns and reports comply with all federal, state and local regulations.

Key Job Accountabilities:
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, extension requests and coordinate the quarterly estimated tax payments. The analyst is also expected to complete all miscellaneous tax filings such as Form 1099, property tax filings, unclaimed property and similar administrative filing requirements.
- Responsible for supporting tax management with maintaining the tax accounts. This will include maintaining schedules used to support the quarterly financial statements and tax footnotes in the Company's 10Q's and 10K.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for sales and use tax issues in communications with the business sites. Assist in developing innovative and creative solutions that will help to resolve or minimize potential tax risk for our business sites. Be fully conversant and intimate with the Plexus business model and be proactive in offering tax advice for our business partners. Responsible for the timely completion of the Company's sales and use tax filings.
- Responsible for supporting tax management with maintaining the tax accounts. This will include maintaining schedules used to support the quarterly financial statements and tax footnotes in the Company's 10Q's and 10K.
- Assist in the completion of tax reviews/audits by taxing authorities. Tax programs include income, transaction and miscellaneous tax filings completed by the tax department. The audit process may include researching tax technical issues, understanding the underlying business process to determine the tax exposure and interacting with the auditor.
- Assist tax management in researching and documenting tax planning opportunities. This will include creating schedules and communicating with other individuals within the finance organization and creating schedules supporting the planning initiatives.

Additional Accountabilities:
- Prepare property tax, Form 1099 and other required returns.
- Assist with tax related federal and state income, sales and use and property tax audits.
- Review and audit fixed asset records for both proper sales tax paid and income tax classification.
- Prepare unclaimed property returns and do associated research.
- Monitor, maintain and update tax calendar.
- Assist with tax department Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Support compliance areas such as benefit plan, payroll, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Here's what we are looking for:

Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a Business related field is preferred.
- Two (2) years of related experience is required; Two (2) or more years of related experience is preferred.
- A CPA designation is preferred, but not required.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

- The employee must be self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assignments with little or no supervision.
- The individual must possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, research, analytical and organizational skills are paramount for the employee to successfully perform this position.
- The individual must maintain objectivity and possess pro-active problem solving skills, along with the ability to make timely and effective recommendations to resolve problems as they arise.
- The employee must keep all department, company and customer information they encounter during their employ confidential.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, tax research and preparation software.
- General office equipment and materials.

Work Environment:
- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
