Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Works closely with and reports to Director of Talent Development to support the successful design, marketing, implementation, oversight, maintenance, measurement and reporting of the organizations Talent Programs (Career Pathing, Succession Planning and Mentor Program). Manager will be responsible for mapping career path and career ladders scenarios for key roles within the organization and sharing such knowledge with team members so they are aware of the education, training, skills and competencies needed to progress their careers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


* Using adult learner principles, develops and designs programs to improve team member performance across the company
* Acts as a strategic partner, building relationships with Corporate, IT, Operations and HR to assess development opportunities, career goals and upward mobility
* Facilitates learning, growth, elevation and lateral movement using a variety of techniques and formats such as career pathing, career ladders, mentoring, coaching, training, higher education, certifications, job shadowing, HIPO programs, etc.
* Uses assessment tools to measure ROI and ROE of learning solutions and the impact on performance and other operational metrics
* Designs, markets, implements, leads, evaluates and manages the organization's mentor programs
* Partners with the Director of Talent Development and VP of Training and Talent Development to design, market, implement and manage the organization's performance management initiatives
* Partners with the Director of Talent Development and VP of Training and Talent Development to design, market, implement and manage an organizational succession strategy
* Develop career ladders showing progression of jobs from highest to lowest based on level of responsibility and pay by department
* Develop career paths to encompass varied forms of career progression, including the traditional vertical career ladders, dual career ladders and horizontal career lattices
* Provides team members with an ongoing mechanism to enhance their skills and knowledge that can lead to mastery of their current jobs, promotions and transfers to new or different positions/departments
* May travel nationwide up to 20%
* Other duties as assigned commensurate with position

Education


* Bachelor's Degree required; degree concentration in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Learning and Development and/or other similar discipline strongly preferred
* Leadership Training and Organizational Development certification(s) preferred

Experience


* 3+ years of career pathing
* 3+ years managing mentor programs preferred
* 3+ years organizational succession planning experience preferred
* 5 years design and development of leadership training strongly preferred
* Contact Center or Health Care experience a plus

* Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
* Bi-lingual a plus
