Job Description:

UST Global is looking for a Business Systems Analyst, who under the general supervision of the Program or Project Manager, will help successfully deliver a health plan ecosystem. The Business Analyst will help support various workstreams within a program to assist the Program Manager and work with small to mid-size Health Plan Clients, third party vendors, and onshore and offshore UST associates in implementing system installations, conversions and migrations. Candidate should have strong experience in requirements solicitation and analysis preferably in health care or related industries. You should have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact with external clients. You should be a complex problem solver who s able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them.

As a Business Analyst at UST Global, this is your opportunity to:

Use analytics and judgment to identify, prioritize, structure and solve complex problems

Work independently to define, test and implement project functional requirements

Design and execute functional test procedures

Create software requirements artifacts and deliverables

Apply system analysis techniques to analyze requirements, system capabilities, workflows, and functional limitations

Serve as subject matter expert on projects to answer business questions that impact the strategic business priorities

Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project

Define software quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other non-functional requirements

Establish and implement effective requirements practices, such as change control process, etc.

Ensure use and continuous improvement of a requirements processes

Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and or viewpoints

Ensure all project requirements are conformed to during every phase of the project implementation

Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data

Prepare status report updates on the progress of assigned tasks

Contribute to the written and verbal communication in and out of the client, specific to the engagement

Ability to interpret technical specifications including API specifications and evaluate against business requirements and workflows

Design and document computer systems or programs, including prototypes, flowcharts and diagrams outlining system capabilities and processes

Perform other duties as assigned or requested

You bring:

Excellent knowledge in HealthCare domain - benefits, pricing, finance, security, claims, enrollment, provider

Expertise in Elicitation of Business requirements by collaborating with Business sponsors. Expertise to compare and document different business solutions and document them

Experience in understanding and evaluating high level technical process flows

Identify various possible business scenarios and document it.

Knowledge on agile process framework and JIRA tool.

Ability to groom the user stories in such a way a developer can code the solution.

Experience in a Health Edge application and a managed care environment preferred

Experience with Medicare and Medicaid is preferred.
