RWJBH IS SEEKING A HEALTH SCREENER (CLINICAL CARE TECHNICIAN) TO WORK IN OUR NEW BRUNSWICK CAMPUS. THIS IS A FULL-TIME, NIGHT POSITION (40 HOURS/WEEK).

SUMMARY: Performing temperature checks and screening for patients, visitors, employees, physicians, and vendors upon entry to the facility.

JOB DUTIES:

* Perform temperature checks via thermal scanner or no-contact thermometers

* Appropriately conducts screening questionnaire process and completes screening forms

* Escalate and collaborate concerns to Nursing as necessary

* Keeping the screening stations neat and orderly on a continuous basis

* Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records

* Greeting patients, visitors, vendors, employees, and physicians

* Assisting patients, visitors, and employees as needed

* Appropriate use of situational awareness training

* Work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit

* Taking vital signs of the patient

* Performing EKGs and phlebotomy

* Assisting or providing patients with beside care (i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care, etc.)

* Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

* American Heart Association CPR required

* Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
