Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible and accountable for team’s safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping (5S), scrap and customer delivery goals and metrics. Lead the team to participate in decision making, problem solving, and continuous improvement process. Work with minimum supervision and predict, identify, and resolve problems
* Will support all relevant aspects of the Hillrom Operation Management System
* Able to perform all jobs within work area and train, assess, and coach team members. Transfer and assign team members within work area and relieve and replace team members as required
* Collaborates with Customer Service and stakeholders to identify and resolve customer complaints
* Effectively communicate within own team and to other teams within the site. Positively motivate team members and lead by example supporting Hillrom values, policies and procedures
* Act with urgency to resolve operations issues or raise problems to appropriate level to ensure timely resolution.
* Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and model safe behaviour. Sustain exemplary performance in attitude, attendance, and ability
* Utilize Standard Work to ensure appropriate training and staffing levels
* Complete ongoing training as required
* Fulfil customer orders in an efficient and timely manner
* Provide thoughtful feedback and innovative ideas in support of daily management and 5S activities
* Safely operate warehouse tools, such as forklift and pallet jack, to assist with efficient warehouse operations
* Ensure proper transfer of inventory from one location to another, through inventory database inputs
Able to work within established performance metrics
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
* 1-5 years’ experience in a regulated distribution role (ISO, FDA)
