The Role

Korn Ferry is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist, Demand Generation. This position will be part of the global demand generation team, a digital center of excellence supporting the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive engagement, qualified leads, and marketing ROI.

Key Accountabilities


  • Partner with portfolio marketing and industry/regional teams to strategize and execute integrated digital campaigns, with a strong focus on email and digital advertising

  • Build, test, and deploy email campaigns and landing pages in marketing automation platform (Marketo) with accuracy; ensure campaigns are configured to enable conversion & ROI reporting

  • Build complex audience segments tailored to campaign goals using a combination of provided lists, target audience demographics, knowledge of solutions and personas, and behavior/prior campaign engagement data

  • Develop and optimize email drip and nurture programs for continuous engagement throughout the lead lifecycle

  • Identify and recommend the best channels, ad formats, bidding and targeting strategies to reach the right audience, achieve campaign goals, and maximize budget

  • Optimize or craft compelling copy and imagery for collateral, emails, ads, and landing pages

  • Plan and execute A/B and multi-variate tests to improve conversions, continuous monitoring, and optimization of campaigns

  • Analyze and report on outcomes against overall KPIs and campaign-specific goals, translate data into actionable insights

  • Utilize conversion tracking, UTMs and creative problem-solving to connect campaign activity between systems

  • Successfully handle contact imports and other tactical steps needed to ensure leads are properly tagged, attributed, and reported on

  • Be a “power” user of software that are used to drive marketing programs (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce)

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technologies; identify strategic opportunities and pilot new tools

Skills & Experience


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B digital marketing campaigns, operations, or similar role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce; Marketo certification is a plus

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation fundamentals, including effective email design and engagement best practices, A/B and multivariate testing, complex segmentation, database management, and lead nurturing

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising fundamentals, including knowledge of ad types, advertising metrics, targeting strategies, UX and conversion optimization techniques, UTMs, and conversion tracking

  • Proven success managing email and/or paid digital media campaigns from planning to execution, testing/optimization, and analysis

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and able to thrive within a global, matrixed marketing team

  • Agile learner: possesses a problem-solving mindset and ability to adjust course and make swift decisions in response to changing priorities/strategy

  • A passion for digital marketing; tech-savvy with a keen interest in the MarTech/AdTech landscape

  • A skilled communicator able to interface with colleagues at all levels from peers to C-suite executives

  • Advocate for diversity and inclusion

  • Some knowledge of HTML and email/landing page template building preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment

  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
