Opportunity:

 

In response to our clients’ needs,
we are looking for highly motivated, intellectually curious and successful Software
Asset Manager who can analyze the entire enterprise discovery, digitize the
entire Software Entitlements and configure the tool with the Software Assets
moving forward. The role gives a direct opportunity to negotiate with
publishers on existing contracts along with doing analysis of the current data
to provide an optimum usage of licenses across the estate.

 

Specific
Responsibilities:

 

1.     
Working experience in software asset management
and understanding of different contracts, license models, Product use rights of
various publishers (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Oracle, VMware, Autodesk etc.)

Experience on
Flexera Asset manager implementation and upgrade management skills.

3.      Participate in process flow analysis and process
redesign 

4.      Share best practices and be consultative throughout
the technical design of the

project

5.      Produce a detailed functional design document to
match customer requirements

produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration
requirements

6.      Participate in internal projects as required

7.      Assessing the existing
architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend
solutions to improve it.

8.      Resolving technical
problems as they arise.

9.      Providing supervision and
guidance to Implementation team.

10.  Informing various
stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being
implemented.

11.  Providing updates to
stakeholders on Implementation processes. 

12.  Having
Strong Experience Background on ITAM Practice.

13.  Good
Knowledge on process flow analysis and process redesign and Sharing best
practices and act to be consultative throughout the technical design of the project.

14.  Produce
a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements and produce
a technical specification for custom development and systems integration
requirements.

15.  Participate
and setting up new process from End to End based on understanding of the Client
Environment.

16.  Expertise
in usage of Software Asset Management & Inventory Collection Tools like Flexera
Asset manager & SCCM in various different domain & Non-domain
architectures at end customer’s organizations to prepare software &
hardware compliance & GAP analysis report.

17.  Experience
in Handling end-to-end execution & closure of Software Compliance audits at
Enterprise level.

18.  Experience
in handling license contracts like MPSA, EA, ETLA, ELA, and ULA & EULA.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

1.     
Preferrably a graduate in technology related discipline
with a mix of technical and management background

2.     
8-15 Years of work experience in Software asset
management

3.     
ITIL V4 foundation certified (Preffered)

4.     
SAM certification preferred (Flexera Asset Manager)

5.     
SAM licensing certification preferred for top priority
publishers like Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, Vmware, HP, Symantec etc.

6.     
Certified/IAITAM/IBSMA/SIIA/BSA Certified Software
Asset Manager) – Preffered
