Content Manager at Inmar

Job Description:

Responsible for creating and implementing various marketing programs and campaigns. Some campaigns are Corporate Marketing Level campaigns and others are in support of Product Marketing efforts at the Business Unit level. The Corporate Marketing Manager will work closely with the entire team to develop content strategy, social strategy and paid media strategy. Reports directly to the Sr. Corporate Marketing Manager.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and has a driven work ethic. This role also requires effective communication skills for dealing with multiple business areas and still meet deadlines.

Primary Accountabilities:

Leadership (20%)


  •  Works with Sr Corporate Marketing Manager, the Sr. Marketing Strategist | Content & Branding and Content Marketing Manager to develop content strategies aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals: awareness and lead gen goals


  • Ensures the Inmar Branding and messaging is upheld across all communications


  • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of the Corporate strategic marketing plan 


  • Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, LTV and retention (specific metrics will be provided with yearly goals)


  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications


  • Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors


  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes


  • Willingness to work on the full range of projects… From the “down and dirty” to the highly complex and directional


  • Stay up to date with relevant industry marketing trends (subscribe to various groups, google alerts, build a network, browse YouTube, listen to and recommend podcasts, research what competitors are doing, and follow thought leaders)


Strategic (40%)


  • Develop Corporate Level campaigns and support Product Marketing Campaigns


  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop ideas for relevant campaigns based on product and events 


  • Implement corporate level campaigns


  • Supports Product Marketing initiatives


  • Drive strategy for new and cutting edge marketing ideas 


  • Measure the impact of Marketing Campaigns


Project Management (25%)


  • Manage project timelines for Press and Product Marketing efforts

  • Manage the B2B content calendar

  • Maintain all event, trade show, and conference calendars on Product Marketing Google Site and Inmar website

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy and calendar for distributing content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc., and build audience engagement as well as leverage the platforms to drive qualified audience acquisition strategy

  • Coordinate experiments to improve B2B social media best practices and work with those who are managing our corporate social media accounts

  • Manage and implement webinars, white papers and events


  • Assist with the creation and development of whitepapers  


  • Manage lead gen opportunities based on marketing opportunities


Influence (20%)


  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams as needed 

  • Initiate ideation and brainstorming around product & campaign initiatives including branding and contextual placement in the corporate language


  • Collaborate with Copywriting & other Corporate Marketing Teams in ideation & production



  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field.


  • 3-5 years related work experience


  • Knowledge of Marketo or Inbound Marketing Platform, Google Suite, Google Analytics, WordPress and SEO


  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite


  • Work experience and/or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position.


  • An understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines


  • Excellent communication skills


  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts


  • Writing skills and understanding of best practices for lead generation


  • Proven work experience as a Marketing manager 


  • Hands on experience with Google Suite


  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML, web publishing , SEO,  and web traffic metrics 


  • Social media skills


  • Excellent writing skills in English Attention to detail 


  • Good organizational and time-management skills 


  • BS degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field

  • KPI 2: Internal Process Quality - Create and support new processes that increase the organization’s efficiencies and quality of work

  • KPI 3: Content Management – Increase and expand Inmar contributed content and thought leadership to assist in lead generation and sales revenue support
