Job Description:

We are looking for Network Engineer (Firewall & Load Balancer) for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

 

Roles & responsibilities:

Working on Day-to-Day operations and supporting Global Network across locations and L2 level support on North America location.

Performing L1, L2 and L3 operational work like validating changes and also working towards the mitigation upgrading Network devices like Cisco Switches, Routers and F5 Load-balancers.

Performing end to end troubleshooting during priority issues and provide workaround solutions and fixes.

Responsible in engaging required Vendor’s like Cisco CMS for ACI related quires, Cisco TAC for Network devices, F5 TAC and working with Network Monitoring team to get the ISP cases opened.  

Understanding the complete end to end Infrastructure of Cisco ACI platform and perform required troubleshooting.

Add Modify and Delete Firewall access rules as a part of Day-to-Day operations.

Add, Modify and Delete configuration on F5 load balancers as a part of Day-to-Day Operations.

3 to 5 years of experience in F5 Load balancer Cisco ASA Checkpoint firewalls Cisco Nexus 9k Cisco 6500s Cisco ASRISR routers Cisco ACI SDN solutions

Requires an in depth knowledge of TCPIP and communication protocols in LAN WAN deployments

Experience in firewall device policy design management and security device troubleshooting and maintenance

Managing Cisco routers Layer 3 switches

Experience in Routing protocols BGP OSPF EIGRP

Significant VPNIPSEC deployment experience on Cisco and Checkpoint platforms

Experience in load balancers F5 load balancing strategies techniques

New URL creation application switching traffic management knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates

Understanding of TCPIP networking familiarity with common networking devices and the ability to use tools such as SNMP, debug and TCP dump to monitor activity diagnose problems and optimize performance

Develop and create infrastructure system documentation
