Job Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support a large DoD maintenance contract for electronic security and other network based communications and surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will be able to follow written maintenance procedures, document results, troubleshoot equipment failures, coordinate with customer representatives, manage time to accomplish required tasks, and maintain professional communication habits, and will also be familiar using a tablet or computer to access system and trouble ticket records and enter data.

Other responsibilities include following design plans or other system drawing sets to guide installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting; installing conduit and cabling infrastructure to connect devices to system control panels; terminating cables and testing communication paths; reviewing manufacturer published system documentation to validate proper operation.

Requirements:
- 6+ years maintenance or electrical installation in security and communications systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Up to 50% travel
- US Citizen

Desired / Preferred:
- DoD experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Safety certifications / training (fall protection / equipment operator)
- Experience in test procedures or system design plans / schematic
- Access Control Systems - Lenel, Vindicator, AMAG
- Video Management/Surveillance Systems - Milestone, Bosch, Axis, Pelco
- Intrusion Detection Systems - DMP
- Network switches and copper / fiberoptic infrastructure and connectors
- Mass Notification / PA systems - Federal Signal
- Automated Vehicle Gates/Barriers, Pedestrian gates / turnstiles
- Land Mobile Radio
- Video Walls or other A/V equipment

Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to climb a tower (on some job sites)
