We are currently seeking a AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Rockville, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).

AWS Cloud Architect on customer s initiative to accelerate cloud adoption and operate mission critical data center through government contractor. Expertise in providing solutions to provide, operate and manage AWS cloud services.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Deliver AWS cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company and assist in modernizing efforts by planning
*

Build AWS cloud with related IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
*

Offer guidance in application migration from on-prem data center to AWS Cloud with related AWS cloud services
*

Translate organizational level business requirements and use cases into architectural capabilities verified to meet the requirements
*

Design solution-independent architecture models that map business services to cloud application stacks
*

Continuously manage, monitor, and update architecture models as business needs evolve and additional cloud services become available
*

Assist product owners, solution architects, and application architects in designing scalable, highly available, secure, cost-effective solutions that leverage cloud services
*

Define and document cloud solution architecture(s) including technical designs and diagrams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

*

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
*

Cloud Architect Certification from AWS Cloud
*

5+ years\' experience designing, executing and supporting AWS Cloud with hands on experience.

Preferred Skills:

*

Expert level in Infrastructure & Application architecting in AWS Cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
*

Has strong experience in migration from on-prem data center to AWS Cloud with related cloud services.
*

Familiar Hybrid Cloud and related technology and be able to support connection with Azure and Private cloud in Hybrid cloud service.
*

Very familiar Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Standards.
*

Expert in AWS cloud cost model and services.
