Requirements

The new team member is required to have twelve years of experience in process engineering layout and design of food and beverage processing facilities. Preference will be given to candidates with a Professional Engineering License or other relevant degree. Previous employment with a food or beverage owner is desirable but not required.

The candidate must be physically located in the Gray West Anaheim, CA office.

The Process Engineering Lead will coordinate the interrelating activities of subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and customers, as well as design and engineering efforts. Will provide input to the Food & Beverage team on the financial status of the project(s) and assist in subcontract and contract administration.

Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Construction Senior Project Manager for the job progress schedule to ensure that actual construction parallels with the schedule.

Coordinate with the F&B Construction Senior PM for the purchase and delivery of all needed materials for the project(s) ensuring optimum prices, quality and conformance to specifications.

Assist the F&B Construction Senior PM with contracts with subcontractors and vendors for various trades, ensuring that all phases of the work are encompassed and that a clear definition of work responsibility is defined.

Advise the Construction Senior PM on subcontractor and vendor payment requests, including ifor the issuance of changes in the work to receive prices from subcontractors in a timely fashion.

Work with Design and Engineering Managers to ensure project(s) is/are designed, procured and constructed within the boundaries of operating guidelines, while conforming to technical requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Assist in the preparation of various reports to successfully manage the project(s), such as monthly red files, progress analysis/schedules, billing and status reports.

Assist Project Engineers and the Construction Senior PM to organize and maintain job files to ensure continuity of workflow.

Responsible to comply with Gray West tools, systems and procedures, with Procore as the main project management software.
