Overview

i3 is seeking a Mid-Level Linux Systems Administrator to support an Army Contract. The Mid-Level Linux Systems Administrator will provide technical expertise supporting information system components, infrastructure integration and maintenance to satisfy architectural and business requirements in support of MDA customer labs. The Mid-Level Linux Systems Administrator must have a customer centric approach and provide all levels of support for the user base community. Candidates for this position must possess, at a minimum, a United States SECRET level security clearance or be able to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users as required via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
- Ability to build, standardize, and configure Linux Operating Systems in various technical use cases.
- Manages the functionality of servers and computers running Linux operating systems such as (RHEL and CentOS) within an
- Active Directory environment.
- Experience with Integrating Linux operating systems to Active Directory environments utilizing tools such as Centrify Server Suite.
- Experience with Linux patching and remediation utilizing YUM, Ansible and configuration management tools.
- Experience with Multifactor authentication, CAC/Smartcard PKI and certificate management in a mixed Windows/Linux environment.
- Ability to create, manage and maintain NFS file server

Qualifications

- Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and in a team environment.
- Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Strong Linux (RHEL, CentOS) Operating System and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong DoD Security practices and knowledge, including COMSEC and facility security standards.
- Must have DoD 8570 IA Certification (Security+ CE)
- Secret Security clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
- Bachelor Degree and 6 years' experience or 10 + years equivalent experience.
