Job Description

The Credit Consultant, Sr will provide consulting and strategic services to Credit staff and line managers on Credit products and services and develops. Additionally, this role will implement programs that support the strategic plan, including developing and recommending changes to policies and procedures to ensure alignment with Credit and corporate strategy. The Credit Consultant, Sr role will also serve as a project manager over a major project in one or more areas.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities to include:
- Serving as lead consultant with business lines, delivery channel and other business partners in credit program/support areas such as, preparing various asset quality and portfolio management reports, maintaining/monitoring various credit quality and portfolio management tracking or tickler systems, managing profitable off-balance-sheet transactions, etc.
- Applying and tailoring customer financial and other reporting to align and influence strategic plans and customer growth/retention.
- Performing special projects as needed including, but not limited to, preparation of ad hoc reports, creation of new asset quality or portfolio management tracking reports, coordination of testing deliverables, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or equivalent in work experience; Masters preferred
- 6-8 years specific banking; 8-10 preferred
- Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills.
- Proficient with applicable computer software.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good organizational and customer service skills.
- Experience in consumer lending necessary
