JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
Relationship banker that proactively manages client relationships within the banks targeted segments in alignment with the Core Retail Bank growth strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage in client and/or prospect management activities while utilizing sales tools provided.
- Drives proactive sales conversations with a defined sales process including, identifying and independently acting upon sales opportunities to build a strong pipeline of appointments to meet assigned sales goals .
- Leverages ecosystem partnerships as well as community centers of influence to acquire, expand and retain relationships.
- Execute activities to maximize expected sales and service delivery that align with the Core Retail Bank growth strategy within the targeted segments.
- Actively monitor past due and maturing loans to resolve issues and uncover potential opportunities.
- Proactively educates clients on utilizing available access channels (i.e. ATM, Online, Mobile and Telephone Banking).
- Transform service transactions into sales opportunities utilizing the consultative sales approach.
- Processes a variety of routine and complex transactions for Financial Center clients, which may include deposits, withdrawals, and loan payment processing.
- Support sales/service activities within the financial center by participating/ hosting seminars, marketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
- Provide ongoing coaching to others within the financial center to effectively identify referral opportunities.
- Attend sales meetings and required training sessions for improved expertise, license and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve client complaints/issues promptly and effectively. Take responsibility for all client complaints and problems until resolved.
- Assists in the responsibility of managing the lobby by actively engaging, greeting, and directing of lobby traffic.
- Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of client and bank assets.
- Participate in local community events to foster brand awareness and service to our markets in which we operate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years retail/branch banking experience.
- 4 years proven success in sales as an individual contributor.
- Proven ability to form and expand client relationships.
- Proficiency in operating and to navigating multiple banking systems and applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
- State Life and Health Insurance License required.
- This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Employment is contingent upon meeting initial and ongoing registration requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable banking products and regulations: experience leading or participating in events and activities for local networks or professional organizations, such as the chamber of commerce, professional business groups, or chapters of national organizations.

- Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately

- Performs well in a team environment and proactively collaborates with others to serve clients
- Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work Financial Center hours, including weekends, and some evenings
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 30 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an \\"undue hardship\\" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
