This position is located at the Milliken Allen Plant located in Blacksburg, SC and reports to a Production Manager. An Experienced Chemical Operator is a key role in the chemical manufacturing processes.Experienced Chemical Operators will be able to work safely as a team member in a chemical manufacturing environment, learn chemical processing and obtain multiple job certifications to progress to top pay.

Job Responsibiilties
- Operation of a forklift
- Complete pour up of chemicals with directions
- Fill/Bag product up to 50 pounds
- Basic chemical blending using recipes
- Safety participation in all aspects
- Lifting various raw materials
- Manhandling drums less than 100 pounds
- Ability to multi-task
- Work both as a team member and independently
- Rotate 12 hour shifts 1st/3rd

Required Qualifications:
- Computer skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Qualifications Preferred:
- Prior experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
- Associates Degree
- Forklift experience
- SAP experience

Pay:
- Dependent upon qualifications
- prior chemical handling/mfg experience or5+ years of related manufacturing will be considered for direct hire above entry rate
- Entry rate: $15.75/hr
- Advancementpotential: $23.00+/hr
- Weekly Attendance Premium of 7%
- Holiday/Vacation Pay
- Uniforms
- Nurse Practitioner on-site weekly
- Eligible for benefitson 1st day of employment: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA and/or FSA
- Eligible for 401K contributions on 90th day of employment
