We are currently seeking a Lead Software Architect to join our team in Sterling, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Lead Software Architect to join our team in Sterling, VA.

Establishes system information requirements to develop large scale information systems. Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications. Ensures compatibility, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Evaluates work flows, organization, and planning. Develops corrective action when necessary. Designs architecture(s) to include the software, hardware, and communications. Provide daily supervision. Work with government customer, NTT staff and subcontractor staff to architect software solutions centered on integrating COTS and Open Source solutions

Oversee the design for all software solutions to efficiently and reliably implement the architecture

Oversee development and testing of designed solutions

Oversee deployment of solutions to cloud and physical locations

May require travel to downtown DC for customer meetings

Required Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or Engineering

15 years System Engineering experience including server, storage and networking

5 years' experience managing Software projects at an enterprise level
3 years experience in Agile development and tools

U.S. Citizen / Ability to obtain a federal agency clearance

Preferred Skills:

10 years' experience in a client-facing role

Knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud services

Experience in telecom circuit and/or business Internet procurement and installation

Master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related

Knowledge of government security requirements

DOJ clearance

Knowledge of system hardening

Experience interfacing with government customers
