The Opportunity...
As a Solutions Consultant, you will support our new US Public Sector Sales business unit. This includes the US Federal Government, State, Local, and Education markets. You will develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Digital Experience Management space, products, and service offerings, including the overall value proposition, features, functionality and competitive landscape.

Citizen and constituent experience is top of mind with government agencies at all levels.Better service, better experience and better insight drive the citizen journey.For every touchpoint governments have with their constituents, OpenText CEM or Digital Experience (DX) has a solution to help them deliver winning customer experiences which includes:
- Customer Communications ManagementwithOpenText Exstreamsoftware
- Digital Experience Management(Web Content Management (WCM), Rich Media Management) with TeamSite/LiveSiteandMediaManagementsoftware
- Contact Center Workforce Optimization(WFO) withQfinitysoftware.

You are Great at...
- Interacting with partners, customers, and prospects to identify key customer needs and translate them into detailed technical solutions.
- Advancing opportunities through the effective use of consultative selling techniques.
- Building customer loyalty as a trusted advisor.
- Solid level of industry acumen while keeping current with industry trends.
- Demonstrating an understanding of the competition as well as positioning & strategy
- Evangelizing solutions to partners, prospects, and customers through presentations, industry networking, and participation in OpenText industry events, social media, onsite visits.
- Define and deliver demonstrations, custom demonstrations, and proofs of concept
- Support Account Executive across multiple geographies in the United States

What it Takes...
- Technical University or Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years'in Digital Experience Management or Development tools and solutions
- 4+years in technical presales and/or consultative selling
- Technical and/or solution experience in the vertical industry
- Strong and demonstrable track record of innovative and creative thinking.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the preparation and delivery of presentations.
- Engage, educate, and influence executives
- Interact with customers, partners, and cross-functional team members.
- Able and willing to travel40-70% as needed
