Job Description:

Summary

Works in an Agile/Scrum environment and participates in the full development life cycle.Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults withScrum team in resolution of problems.

Minimum Requirements
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computerrelated field or equivalentexperience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics

-
At least 3years of related experience with software testing, including writing and executing automated test scripts.
-
Some experiencein programming withone of the following languages: Java,Python, orRuby.
-
Strong practical QA principals and practices foundation,including test strategy, planning, execution,and automation.
-
Experience testingWeb,Mobile, and/or server-based applications.This would include the development and executionof project specific test plans.
-
Experience testing Web Services (Soap, Restful, etc.).
-
ExperiencewithQAautomationtechnologies like Selenium WebDriver,andTestNG.
-
Solid understanding oftheSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC)and Agilemethodologies.
-
Experience using SQLand Database Management Systems (DBMS), such as Postgres and MySQL.
-
Basic understanding ofLinux distributions.
-
Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technologies, includingbringing new ideas to the team.

Prior job experience that demonstrates the ability to interact and communicate with a variety of personality profiles with successful results.
-
Excellent verbaland writtencommunicationskills are required.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Able to multi-task, triage issues, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Must be self-motivated and knowwhen to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.

Helpful / Preferred

-
Knowledge of web services technologies (i.e.ReadyAPI).
-
Experience withsource control tools (i.e.BitBucket,Git), continuous integration tools,and Jira is a plus.
-
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
-
Projectleadership experience is a plus.
-
CSTE/CSQA/ASTQB certificationisnice to have, but not required.
